An opportunity to hear the culmination of a week of intensive coaching and masterclasses for young ensembles exploring contemporary chamber repertoire.

World-renowned Canadian string quartet, the Bozzini Quartet, and oboist Melinda Maxwell, have spent the week tutoring four ambitious young chamber ensembles who are passionate about contemporary repertoire.

This is an opportunity to hear the results of the intensive work they’ve undertaken on a variety of pieces. The performance includes four new works composed by Britten Pears Young Artist alumni specially for the ensembles.

Watch live masterclasses with the artists and tutors in the week leading up to this performance.

The Britten Pears Young Artist Programme is made possible with the generous support of our Trusts & Foundations and individual supporters. Aestus Quartet is supported by John Lawrence Field Memorial Bursary and Ensemble Renard is supported by the Chandos Bursary.
