Our aim is simple: to be useful to people. We run a wide range of pioneering projects that make the most of music’s ability to bring joy to people’s lives.

We offer opportunities for people to realise their potential, tailored to groups including young musicians, professional artists, schools, prison residents, and people living with conditions affecting their health and wellbeing.

Education and work with our local communities have been at the heart of our mission for more than 50 years, and this is reflected in our national leadership roles in the areas of Music and Health and Talent Development.

You can also join a community of people committed to supporting our mission by becoming a member, or by volunteering at The Red House and Snape Maltings.
