Embark on a journey through 140 years of maritime history, starting at the World War II Bawdsey Battery and passing three Martello towers.

Walkers will visit the settlement of Shingle Street, traversing salt marshes and meadows en route to the Hollesley Bay prison complex and the Suffolk Punch Trust estate.

Following a leisurely lunch at the Suffolk Punch Trust estate, there will be an opportunity to explore the sprawling 120-acre farm and marvel at the majestic horses nurtured on the land.

This route is approximately 6.5 miles long. Coaches will depart from Moot Hall, Aldeburgh at 9.30am and 10am, but will also stop at Snape Maltings. The coach will return you to Aldeburgh by 4.30pm.
