Re-imagined, Jo Jacobs
28 July – 3 August
The Quay Gallery, Snape Maltings
Open Daily | 10am - 4pm
Landscape, seascape and still life re-imagined in mixed media and cedar wood paintings inspired by areas of Suffolk.
Jo Jacobs enjoys using paper with acrylic, wax and ink, to create the colours and textures she sees along the beach at Felixstowe where she lives, and in the surrounding rural landscape. She also uses objects from around her home to re-imagine still life.
Off-cuts from the building of her cedar wood studio inspired her to up-cycle them into small paintings of her favourite places in Suffolk, including Snape, Aldeburgh and Felixstowe Ferry.
