How to apply
Applications are currently closed.
We only accept application via our online portal. We usually ask for up to three links to video recordings of you that show your current level of expertise (repertoire requirements vary from year to year). We also ask all applicants for a short “about me” video to help us get to know you, why you’re applying and to learn about how this opportunity will help you in this impersonal format.
We are particularly keen to receive applications from those who identify as from marginalised backgrounds based on any protected characteristic including age, racialisation, gender identity or sexuality, disability or long term health condition, pregnancy, maternity or marital status, religion or belief, and class background or class identity.
All applications are reviewed by our rotating panel of internationally recognised artists and Britten Pears Arts staff. There are no application fees, all applicants receive feedback on their application regardless of whether they are successful.
We will be re-opening for applications for the 2023-24 Programme at the end of 2022, please keep an eye on our website or sign up for our mailing list.
