As we move into 2025, we’ve taken time to reflect on the viability of our Compassionate Communities activities. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to discontinue both the Bereavement Café and the Bereavement Gardening Group, due to consistently low attendance.

We want to reassure you that support remains available through St. Elizabeth Hospice’s LivingGrief services, which offer a broad range of bereavement support. You can find more information here: LivingGrief Bereavement Support – St Elizabeth Hospice

In addition, we hope to transition our bereavement walks into the Walk On group, also run by St. Elizabeth Hospice. More details can be found here: Walk On – St Elizabeth Hospice

Britten Pears Arts was proud to dedicate a year to nurturing the development of Compassionate Communities, and we truly hope our efforts have made a meaningful impact.

Thank you for your continued interest, encouragement, and support.

Where words are sometimes lost, music can sustain, and we are delighted that Britten Pears Arts have embraced the Compassionate Communities movement with passion and sincerity. It is a pleasure to see St Elizabeth Hospice and Britten Pears Arts work in partnership and we look forward to seeing Compassionate Conversations weaving into our shared community over the coming months and years.
