The Holst Foundation’s mission is to support the performance and recording of works by living composers, as well as to promote the legacy of Gustav and his daughter Imogen Holst. In addition to being a significant musician and musical leader in her own right, Imogen made a huge contribution to Britten’s music and the Aldeburgh Festival, and the Foundation continues this relationship today through grants to support the Festival. Imogen’s Archive is held by Britten Pears Arts at The Red House and her presence remains strong throughout the organisation.
