The D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust
Established by Dame Bridget D’Oyly Carte in 1972, The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust are major supporters of the arts in the UK. At Britten Pears Arts they are supporting the Britten Pears Young Artists Programme, helping early career musicians to receive the training they need to take the next step in their careers. In addition to the arts, the Trust supports charities in the fields of medical welfare and the environment, reflecting Dame Bridget’s personal interests in music, theatre, and gardening, as well as supporting those who are disadvantaged.
