Snape Maltings is unique in its stunning setting and its purpose. These exceptional buildings, established by Newson Garrett in the mid-1850s, are uniquely preserved intact without further development in its original footprint and surrounded by this wonderful landscape.

Built on the remarkable legacy of our founders Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, our charitable work is as vibrant today as it was when it was all begun over 60 years ago. By naming a seat in Snape Maltings Concert Hall or an oak board on our Boundary Boardwalk you can play your part in our extraordinary story and help keep Aldeburgh at the forefront of musical life for generations to come.
