Support Britten Pears Young Artists

We are delighted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this much loved and much needed resource. Since 1972, over 10,000 young artists have attended the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme. The programme enables the transition between conservatoires and professional life, offering unique development and performance opportunities to young musicians. Many have gone on to become leading musicians in their own right.

We are aware of the many significant barriers that early career musicians can face in successfully establishing themselves in a highly competitive industry - and multiple lockdowns have made this even more challenging. Britten Pears Young Artists Programme works to remove the barriers and focuses on empowering new talent and potential by bringing together mentors of the highest caliber and young talent from around the world. The transfer of information, experience, knowledge, and skills is remarkable.

We know that this rich resource creates a unique and inspirational opportunity to young musicians, and with the help of our supporters, strengthens our commitment, and Britten and Pears vision, to nurture generations of professional musicians long into the future.
