Garrett House is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Suffolk countryside and coast and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Recently refurbished to a high standard, Garrett House is a Grade 2 listed townhouse with 3 floors and views over the quiet Courtyard. Full of character, bright and very well furnished – a perfect location for a short break or a longer stay when the beautiful surrounding areas can be explored at leisure.
The house is situated at the front of Snape Maltings with many of the original features enhancing the high standard of decoration throughout the property. It is within close proximity of the excellent range of shops, Café 1885, The Plough and Sail as well as the Granary teashop. It is in the ideal spot to enjoy a concert in the world famous concert hall and be home within 2 minutes.
Ground Floor
Through the front door is the beautifully furnished sitting room with large comfortable corner sofa, armchair, coffee table and wood burning stove. There is a portable Bluetooth speaker, large flat screen Smart TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs. The sitting room leads to the dining room with extending dining table to accommodate up to 6 people.
The dining room leads to a hallway with a back door leading straight into the private shared Courtyard which is a peaceful space to have a morning cup of coffee or an early evening drink. Off the hallway is the well-equipped kitchen overlooks the Courtyard. Off the kitchen is a utility area and downstairs cloakroom.
First Floor
The hallway stairs lead to the first floor double bedroom which has a king size bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, full length mirror and flat screen TV. The spacious family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and washbasin.
Second Floor
The stairs to the top floor lead to where there are two further bedrooms and a shower room with washbasin and WC. The double bedroom on this floor looks out onto the front of the Maltings and has a king size bed with built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, full length mirror and flat screen TV. The spacious single room overlooks the Courtyard and has a single bed, hanging rail, chest of drawers, full length mirror and flat screen TV.

Our changeover days are a Monday or Friday and we have a minimum stay of two nights. We do try to be flexible when we can so please contact holidays@snapemaltings.co.uk if you would prefer a different start date and we will try to accommodate you.
