Church Walk is a delightful single- storey property in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. It was the home of Imogen Holst from 1964 until her death 20 years later. It was designed by renowned architect H.T Cadbury Brown, within the grounds of his former home number 3.
Imogen Holst lived a frugal life and the decor and furnishings of this unique accommodation has been left reflecting this, wanting to preserve the original spirit of her home. With this in mind it is worth noting, areas of the living space are functional and somewhat sparse.
The detached building comprises of a small entrance lobby, living space, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a sound insulated music room. What it offers more so is the chance to step back in time and appreciate the charm and rich history.
