Phoebe Lydbrook
Phoebe leads a diverse career as a performing violinist, educator, and community musician. She originally studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating in 2011 with a First Class Honours Degree. Her work as a professional violinist since then has included performing in the classical sphere with orchestras such as Britten Sinfonia, at festivals with the likes of DJ Benji B (BBC Radio 1) and in choreographed shows for luxury cruise lines. As a string teacher, she has taught as far and wide as Uganda and the Middle East, and more recently, as Head of Strings for Haringey Music Service and Director for Stringwise Music Courses.
Phoebe is passionate about harnessing the power of music as an inclusive, universal language, to bring people together to express themselves and improve wellbeing. She is also a qualified Sound Therapist, Yoga Instructor and Meditation Teacher.
