Oli Rockberger
Oli Rockberger, a songwriter, producer, keys player, vocalist and recording artist, has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Carly Simon, John Mayer, Steve Jordan, Chaka Khan, Steve Gadd, Becca Stevens and Louis Cole. Currently a member of Laura Mvula’s touring band, highlights include recording as a featured vocalist on her ‘Ivor Novello’ winning ‘Pink Noise’ album, performing at Wembley Stadium supporting Coldplay, and appearing alongside the LSO at The Barbican.
Oli's talent extends beyond performing, as he is also a skilled songwriter. He has collaborated with artists such as Jordan Rakei, Hiromi, Shaun Escoffery, China Moses, Randy Brecker, Gareth Malone and Gregory Porter & Troy Miller. Notably, he co–wrote the gold–selling lead single “Revival Song” from Gregory Porter’s 2021 Grammy–Nominated album 'All Rise.'
In addition to his musical endeavours, Oli is deeply committed to music education. He holds the position of Professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He also mentors for Berklee Valencia's Masters program, serves as a Specialist External Assessor for the Royal Northern College of Music and has been a regular contributor to ICMP’s Songwriting Master’s program.
Oli has been a guest speaker and artist in residence at various prestigious institutions, including Berklee, TISCH (NY), Musician’s Institute (LA), University of North Florida, Canterbury and Trinity Laban.
Currently, Oli is working on his seventh solo collection, showcasing his ongoing passion for writing, recording and continuous teaching.
