Folkatron Sessions
Folkatron Sessions are a collective of folk, jazz and electronic musicians from the UK and France who bonded over a love of ‘genre-bending’ [Folk Radio UK] folk music. Their ‘unique soundscape’ [Songlines Mag] refracts trad folk through electronic, jazz, ambient, sound art and prog rock lenses.
After 3 successful studio releases, we are on the journey of developing a live show that will bring our unique sound to audiences in the UK and abroad. We will be creating new bespoke live material, exploring the power of narrative and visuals to draw listeners in to our colliding musical worlds.
