I’ve been involved with BPA since 2013 when I was a member of Apollo5. We were involved in the centenary project and I worked with schools in Essex on Benjamin Britten’s original Friday Afternoon Songs. I co-conducted the 2018 Big Sing with Errollyn Wallen’s songs and I have been an ambassador since 2019. I think the Friday Afternoons resources are just brilliant and it’s important that they provide high quality classical music for young children, and brilliant CPD opportunities for teachers and singing leaders. I can’t wait to get involved in all the other BPA projects.
