Alice Zawadzki is a vocalist, violinist, songwriter and composer based in London. Alice's extensive performances have seen her headline at many major UK venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott's, the Vortex, Celtic Connections and the London Jazz Festival! She released her debut album in 2014 titled China Lane, a collection of original songs and arrangements infused with modern, ancient and invented folklore - which got voted Album of the Week by BBC Radio 3 on release and made The Guardian's Best Albums End of Year list. As of 2023, Alice has been working on her new piece, Bag of Bones, commissioned by Manchester Collective, which is a piece of music-theatre that weaves Eastern European folklore with psychology, ceremony and ritual.
