Untold is an (anti-)opera exploring transnational Chinese identities being developed by composer Alex Ho, creative director Julia Cheng performed by Keith Pun and Tangram, newly appointed Associate Artists at LSO St Luke's.
Ahead of its premiere at Flemish Opera in 2023, Festival of New presented a work-in-progress showing of Untold as the culmination of the team's residency at Snape Maltings.
Untold began its journey in 2019 as a 45' version which won the George Butterworth Award for "an outstanding new work" and was described as a "collaborative tale of pride and grace" (Schmopera).
