Leon Clowes is a conceptual artist who compassionately and unflinchingly explores lived trauma. His award winning artworks have been selected for international arts and radio festivals such as SPILL, Deptford X, Hackney Historic Buildings Trust, and CCA Glasgow's Radiophrenia Festival.
SECRETS: The Last Five Days of Sandra explores the shock and lived familial trauma surrounding the discovery of Leon Clowes' birth father's identity at his mother's death bed. The installation and performance was created in collaboration with artists Andrea Edwards, Kelly O'Brien and Gerry McNee (AKA Itchy Ear) as part of a Snape Residency.
