Festival of New – Residency Film
An improvised sonic experience exploring deep listening, stillness and trust. Balladeste string duo push their own boundaries, drawing on electronics to create an intimate installation for the audience to discover at its own pace.
Cellist-composer Tara Franks and violinist-composer Preetha Narayanan join with electronic musician/sound engineer Alex Bonney in this 30-minute performance space. Together, they improvise with textures, stillness and dialogue to create a modal sound-world that draws its listeners and performers into a deep listening experience.
