Britten Pears Arts is a pioneering music, arts and heritage charity based on the Suffolk coast. It was created in 2020 when the two long established charities which formed the legacy of Britten and Pears’ life and work, Snape Maltings (formerly Aldeburgh Music) and Britten-Pears Foundation came together.

The Marketing Team is responsible for promoting everything that we do, from performances through to our work with communities and young artists, our two destinations; Snape Maltings and The Red House, and our commercial activities which include retail and events. Our industry-leading website sits at the heart of this work, and the Website Assistant will be integral to the smooth running and continuing innovation of the site.

This newly created role will assist in all elements of the website and maintaining the online presence of Britten Pears Arts and Snape Maltings. The post holder will work on all activities involved in updating the website. As well as inputting and updating data, events and activities, the role will include copywriting, content creation (film + video), organic and paid-for advertising and data analysis. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a good understanding of websites and digital content, and who is keen to develop their skills and broaden their experience within a dynamic arts organisation.

We are an equal opportunities employer and believe that diversity strengthens and enriches us. We positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates of all ages and from all backgrounds, in particular from minority groups and disabled candidates who are currently under-represented at Britten Pears Arts.

As part of our commitment to equality of opportunity, we kindly ask you to complete our Equality and Diversity Monitoring Form.

To apply please send a covering letter and completed application to Helen Fletcher, HR Director: We do not accept CVs on their own.

Please note: first interviews can be via zoom if travel to Suffolk is not possible.
