Snape Maltings Trading Limited is the trading arm of Britten Pears Arts, providing essential income that allows us to fulfil our charitable purpose.  BPA is a pioneering music, arts and heritage charity based on the Suffolk coast at two popular, historic visitor destinations: Snape Maltings and The Red House. 

Situated on heritage site within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Snape Maltings is a unique retail destination renowned for its carefully selected and curated product ranges which include homewares, furniture, art, ceramics and artisan crafts.   

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with relevant skills or experience to be part of our small visual merchandising team, on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave. We have an excellent reputation for eye-catching and innovative visual merchandising, and this role offers the chance to apply your creative flair with an incredibly varied product range, creating “lifestyle” settings and finding innovative ways to display merchandise. Our buying team works hard to find ranges that will not typically be found on the high street, with as much as possible coming from local, ethical and small producers.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have visual merchandising experience, ideally with similar product ranges.

• Have a good eye for colour and have plenty of creative flair.

• Have strong brand-awareness and understand the commercial needs of the business.

• Enjoy being able to use your initiative whilst also being part of a wider team.

• Are flexible, willing and able to work in different areas of the store to support and collaborate with colleagues.

• Enjoy working with people and customers.

• Are able to lift, carry and spend your time on the salesfloor.
