HR Advisor
JobsThis new role has been created to provide additional HR expertise and support to both parts of our organisation. As part of a small HR team this is very much a generalist role but will include a particular focus on recruitment, policies and EDI.
Although leading, and supporting colleagues with recruitment, this role will also be called upon to provide advice/guidance to colleagues, recognising that HR is a support service and must maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and efficiency, balancing individual needs with those of the organisation. “Visible” HR is key to the team’s credibility and accessibility and “walking the floor” is an important element of all HR roles. As part of a small team the role is also likely to include essential HR admin as needed.
In particular we are looking for:
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice.
- Generalist HR experience - in particular leading on recruitment, creating and implementing of employee policies.
- A relevant qualification - ideally CIPD Level 5 - or experience that at least matches that level.
- Confident IT and efficient admin skills, experience of using social media in a professional context.
