Hoffmann Building

Opened in May 2009, the Hoffmann Building features two performance spaces as well as a number of additional rehearsal rooms, office space and a social area.

River View Café & Bar

Our light and airy space, overlooking the wonderful Snape vista on the first floor of the Concert Hall building, with fully stocked bar.

River View Restaurant

On the top floor of the Concert Hall building sits our River View Restaurant. With its spacious vaulted ceiling and uninterrupted views of the river, the large space is perfect for weddings and events.

The Tipi

Hire our glorious double tipi which sits next to the reed beds at Snape Maltings. Open the sides and enjoy the incredible views or keep them closed for a more intimate atmosphere.

Peter Pears Recital Room

A studio ideal with retractable seating for 112 ideal for public masterclasses, rehearsals and more intimate recitals.

Jerwood Kiln Studio

The Hoffmann Building, Snape Maltings, Snape, Suffolk, IP17 1SP

A rehearsal studio on the first floor of the Hoffmann Building used as a 60-capacity venue.

The Pumphouse

44 Park Road, Aldeburgh, IP15 5EU

The Pumphouse is a Victorian brick structure situated on the edge of the marshes on the outskirts of Aldeburgh. It has been used as a fringe venue during the Aldeburgh Festival since 2000 and the combination of its raw-found beauty, intimacy and eclectic programme has made it very popular with audiences and performers. In 2011 the Pumphouse underwent significant improvements by adding an extension to the west side of the building offering a dressing room, toilets and a small foyer, all of which offer heating. Please note there is no heating in the Pumphouse itself. The venue is licenced for up to 60 people.
