The Icelandic pianist "revitalising classical music" (The Economist) plays music by Mozart and his contemporaries.

Víkingur Ólafsson makes his Aldeburgh Festival debut with a programme focused on Mozart's keyboard works of the 1780s. We hear them alongside pieces by Mozart's well known contemporaries, Haydn and CPE Bach, and also composers Cimarosa and Gallupi, who were extremely popular in the 1780s but are rarely played today.
