Experience the vibrant sounds of The Zawose Queens as they blend traditional East African music with modern electronic elements.

Pendo and Leah Zawose, daughters of the legendary Dr. Hukwe Zawose, showcase the rich polyrhythms and polyphonic singing of the Wagogo people from Tanzania’s Dodoma region. This marks the first time that women from this famous musical family take their place as lead vocalists and performers.

The Zawose Queens bring the spirit and fire of East African music to life. Their music connects deeply with nature, ceremony, and ritual, celebrating their heritage and environment.

Doors open with a global tunes playlist from 6pm.

Live music from 8.30pm.
