Sir András performs a solo piano recital in the magical acoustic of Snape Maltings Concert Hall, unveiling his programme live in the moment. A longstanding collaborator with the world’s greatest orchestras, in recent years he has increasingly focussed on solo playing. His appearances playing Bach have become a highlight of the BBC Proms, while his award-winning live and recorded performances of Schubert, Beethoven and Schumann, among many others, have been acclaimed by audiences and critics around the world.
