Music To Die For
Join Dr Hazel Harrison and Phillipa Anders, alongside pianist George Fu, for an intimate event exploring the deep connection between music and grief.
Through live performance, storytelling, and conversation, we’ll uncover how music shapes our experiences of loss, processes emotions, and offers comfort, helping us honour those we’ve lost.
This project began as part of a Britten Pears Arts Think Tank, leading to Hazel and Phillipa being awarded a Creative Health Residency. The event shares some of the powerful stories gathered through their website, discusses the science behind music and emotion and invites George to share his own story through both words and music.
