Music Makers: 8–11 years | Britten Pears Arts

A free afternoon of music making exploring musical styles from jazz fusion to orchestral music.

Designed for KS2 students, sessions are for children aged 8–11, and no musical experience is required. If you play an instrument then bring it along, but we’ll provide plenty to try out and enjoy. Children will have fun with warm ups and musical games, and create their own piece of music together with a visiting music artist.

Please note that this is a drop-off session but parents and carers are welcome to attend the final 10 minutes for an informal performance.

We also run Music Makers for 5–7 year olds.

If a session is showing sold out, you can contact the box office to be added to the waiting list. Please let us know if you can no longer make a session, so the place can be offered to another music maker.
