Join us on Good Friday evening for this captivating Bach recital by the superstar harpsichordist.

Mahan Esfahani is part of a new generation of players who are helping to give, as Alex Ross put it in the New Yorker, “an almost hipsterish profile to an instrument that has often been stereotyped as archaic and twee”.

The Iranian-American musician made his London debut in 2009, and now has an international reputation as one of the most skilled harpsichordists of his generation. He has had many critically acclaimed performances with major appearances on four continents.

Mahan Esfahani returns to Snape Maltings for this special Easter Friday performance featuring preludes and fugues by Bach, the greatest composer for keyboard of all time.
