The bass trombonist, African hand percussionist, and composer Hannabiell Saunders and her Midnight Blue Collective made waves during their recent residency – and now they bring their exhilarating fusion of Afro-Caribbean and Latin percussion, Jazz, Afro-beat, Funk and Reggae to Snape Maltings Concert Hall.

This organic blend of powerful and upbeat drums, brass, vocal chants, and mbira compositions produces an invigorating party atmosphere and summons lively audience participation! Hannabiell & Midnight Blue is committed to playing music that breaks down personal and cultural barriers. The ensemble's diverse membership is a direct reflection of its diverse fan base and audience attendance. The performances never fail to convey the band’s passion for equality and social change and its belief that 'the power to unite humanity and make peace rests within artforms that break stereotypes and brings diverse communities together.'
