Van Kuijk Quartet

Alumni of the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme’s Chamber Music in Residence series, the splendid Van Kuijk Quartet presents a programme of French delights and youthful Mozart.

The concert includes music taken from their project “Impressions Parisiennes”, with aching and colourful music by Debussy and Ravel, plus arrangements of songs by Fauré. We also hear Mozart’s first quartet, written when he was 14.

We offer musical delight and respite from the winter winds in the shape of performances by brilliant young ensembles from the UK and abroad. All ensembles in this series are Britten Pears Young Artists for 2023-24, and are on a Chamber Music Residency as part of the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme.
