Isabelle van Keulen leads an exciting open coaching session with some of the finest emerging chamber ensembles across the UK and Europe.

This special event forms part of our week of intensive tuition and mentoring for chamber ensembles by some of the world’s best chamber musicians. This masterclass will feature some of the international cohort of emerging ensembles in our 2022-23 Britten Pears Young Artist Programme.

Isabelle van Keulen plays the violin and viola with incredible energy, performing chamber music in any thinkable combination and directing chamber orchestra performances. Her impassioned advocacy of 20th and 21st century music for violin and viola has taken her to renowned orchestras worldwide as a soloist including Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic and NHK Tokyo. Her love for chamber music led to the founding of the Wigmore Soloists and her own ensemble, which has dedicated itself to works by Astor Piazzolla, among others.
