A mini recital of early Britten songs in one of the original Aldeburgh Festival venues.

Much of this music was written early in Britten’s career, including Variations on a French Carol for two voices, violin, viola and piano, performed in public for the first time.

Aldeburgh’s Jubilee Hall has been home to many premieres of Britten’s work, and was the original setting for the Aldeburgh Festival.
