In huge demand, Black Dyke Band is the most recorded brass band in the world, with over 350 recordings to date. It is recognised as one of the foremost ensembles of its type and presents innovative programmes of music which appeal to a wide range of tastes.
It is also the most successful contesting band in the world, having won thirteen European Championships, the British Open on a record 30 occasions, and 23 National Championships of Great Britain.
The programme has something for everyone: the sultry delights of Nobody Does It Better, the blockbuster Live And Let Die, music from the New World Symphony of Dvorak, and dance-inspired renditions of Libertango and Ravel’s Bolero.
