Opera Arias Masterclass with Gweneth Ann Rand
Join us for an enthralling coaching session exploring operatic repertoire by Gweneth Ann Rand.
This forms part of our week of intensive tuition and mentoring for Britten Pears Young Artists on Opera Arias led by some of the world’s best performers, interpreters and vocal coaches. This masterclass will feature our brand new international cohort of emerging singers and répétiteurs for the 22-23 Britten Pears Young Artist Programme.
Gweneth Ann Rand is widely known for her operatic and recital performances, highlights in the current season include recitals at Oxford Lieder, the Howard Assembly Room and Wigmore Hall – where she is an Associate Artist; Judit Bluebeard’s Castle for Theatre of Sound; 4.48 Psychosis at the Philharmonie de Paris with Ensemble intercontemporain; and the world premiere of The Blue Woman at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
