East Suffolk Community Partnerships have been designed to help local communities to focus funding on local priorities. The partnerships represent a broad spectrum of stakeholders across each community, including town and parish councils, the police, health, businesses, voluntary organisations, community and youth groups, and East Suffolk Council. They meet to agree what the priorities should be in each area, with local organisations able to make bids for work that aligns with those priorities. At Britten Pears Arts they are supporting the Participate programme, bringing the benefits of music making to adults in later life across East Suffolk, including some trial activity in Halesworth.
