Pond Gallery, Snape Maltings

David Foster’s artwork responds to nature and place through photography – especially double-exposure photography – and moving image.

Motivated by a search for wildness, beauty, and solace, I make images that reflect my experience of and relationship with the natural world. I also explore and respond to places in the context of particular people, often other artists, who are associated with those places.

This exhibition comprises a mini-retrospective of the last decade of my practice, featuring a selection of work from several different projects.
