A last chance to explore The Red House on the final weekend of the season.

Saturday 2 – Sunday 3 November
The Red House, Aldeburgh

Britten’s local and creative connections were essential for his wellbeing and music: his work was often written for specific people and his creative circle were a mix of musicians, artists, and Aldeburgh natives.

For the final weekend of the visiting season, we celebrate Britten’s community with talks in the Archive about fascinating items in the collection, and across the site we will be celebrating the people who had deep connections to The Red House, Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears.

There are recitals on Sunday at 1pm and 4pm in the Library, which means it will not be accessible for general visiting that day (although you are welcome to come along with a recital ticket). The rest of the house, exhibition, gardens, and archive will be open for visiting.
