This course will be led by Isabel Charisius, James Baillieu, and the Heath Quartet, alongside Elena Urioste and Melissa White who bring elements of their Intermission programme.

The five chamber ensembles will be in residence together for 12 days, each with dedicated space to workshop, rehearse and build on their foundations. Throughout the course, tutors will be available for coaching and mentorship. A key focus is being healthy musicians both within and beyond the ensemble, with opportunities for yoga that enhances practice, and lessons to set up habits for the future. The course will include masterclasses and two lunchtime concerts at the Jubilee Hall in Aldeburgh.

The facilities and tutors with whom we get to work during this time are unparalleled and it seems as though this is a unique thing for BPYAP over other opportunities for young ensembles.
