Chamber Music in Residence 2024-25 – Meet the Artists
Chamber Music in Residence (CMIR) offers emerging ensembles the opportunity to undertake intensive study, rehearsal and reflection. Open to young ensembles who have been working together for at least two years, this residency provides space and time for artists to focus on developing their practice as a chamber group.
Each residency lasts a fortnight and includes two lunchtime concerts at the Jubilee Hall in Aldeburgh. CMIR is all about flexibility for the ensemble. Chamber groups can plan their own schedule, receive coaching from a tutor of their choice, and take the time to listen and work on what is important to them.
I find that any time spent at Snape is always invaluable to us as an ensemble.Britten Pears Young Artist 2023-24
