English Song 2023-24 – Meet the Artists
This course is designed to help early-career singers and collaborative pianists who want to really dive inside English song, collaborate with other like-minded emerging artists and challenge their own perceptions of the song repertoire.
The course will be led by Gweneth Ann Rand coaching alongside world-renowned voice teacher Julia Faulkner and pianists Julius Drake & Audrey Hyland. The composer and poet in residence will be mentored by Sally Beamish and David Harsent.
I can't think of a better place to delve into the world of English Song than the place that gave so much inspiration to one of the greatest composers of this country. I'm looking forward to exploring Aldeburgh and absorbing some of that same inspiration.BPYA 23-24
